Current HR systems are typically fragmented into specialized applications: Selection, Job Evaluation, Performance Management, Training and Development, Industrial Relations and Pay. These systems tend to be highly complex and technical, and reliant on specialist expert support.
They are not integrated or aligned with an organization’s business needs. People don’t easily recognize their own work requirements and environment in the standard descriptions and processes that support such traditional systems.
